RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Unit Supervisor is responsible for operating of the Waste to Energy (WtE) operations and common areas safely and efficiently, within safety, environmental constraints, and design parameters. Other responsibilities are:

  1. Operate Waste-to-Energy Console: Monitor processes and adjust parameters to meet production targets while ensuring safety and compliance with procedures.
  2. Lead Safe Operations: Manage safe startup and shutdown of units and auxiliaries, confirming pre-start checks and equipment status.
  3. Data Recording and Monitoring: Compile DCS data, investigate alarms, and address any operational deviations or abnormalities.
  4. Report Issues: Communicate safety defects, operational challenges, and potential problems to the Head of Shift.
  5. Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Diploma or suitable technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  4. Second Grade Steam Boiler Driver (Boilerman)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to lead and supervise the Electrical Maintenance Section, ensuring its safe, reliable, and effective operation. Other responsibilities include:

  1. Supervise Electrical Maintenance: Lead maintenance activities for the Power Plant's electrical systems, ensuring efficiency and adherence to procedures.
  2. Maintain Electrical Systems: Perform installation, repair, and routine inspections of electrical equipment up to 33kV to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Develop Maintenance Plans: Create and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maintain equipment integrity.
  4. Coordinate with Contractors: Oversee contractors for mechanical maintenance and manage outage tasks, including scheduling and reporting.
  5. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain safe handling of tools and equipment, and update safety protocols and risk assessments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Diploma or suitable technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Possess Chargeman BO 33kV certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
  3. Minimum 5 years experiences in facilities equipment, production machinery or its equivalent.
  4. Familiarity with electrical equipment and machinery, including transformers, switchgear, motors, generators and control systems.

  2. Record Management: Maintain accurate records and inventories of mechanical maintenance tools and equipment.
  3. Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineers to address and resolve recurring issues in plant systems to enhance reliability and performance.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead contractor teams in maintaining mechanical equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  5. Safety Compliance: Implement QHSE procedures and promote a safety-conscious work environment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

The Operations Engineer (LTP) is responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities of the Leachate Treatment Plant, ensuring its safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This include:

  1. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the Leachate Treatment Plant, coordinating maintenance activities and prioritizing tasks for long-term planning.
  2. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently, maintaining compliance with environmental and operational standards while monitoring critical parameters.
  3. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide proactive supervision to address plant upsets, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Resource Management: Manage inventory levels of chemicals and consumables, and plan equipment handovers to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Analyze operational incidents, develop safe practices, and make recommendations to enhance safety, profitability, and reliability in plant processes.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Bachelor's degree or suitable technical qualification in Chemical or Plant Process Engineering.
  2. Certified Environmental Professional in Leachate Treatment Plant Operation (CePLTPO).
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation of Wastewater Treatment Plant.
  4. Detail knowledge of engineering practices, function and processes involved in Wastewater Treatment plant operation and maintenance.

  2. Issue payment vouchers, advice on details of payments, and prepare dispatch for cheques to payee.

  4. To ensure that the bank debits are correct upon receipt of debit advice.
  5. Data entry of all payment vouchers, debit advice, local and overseas invoices, and journals.
  6. Reconciliation of statements of accounts for local and overseas suppliers.

  8. Follow up overdue invoices and request for faxed copies of invoices from suppliers to ensure that all invoices to be accounted for the current month are accountable.
